“Like” and “Share” our Mississippians Facebook page to engage with others in the state

A few years ago, I established a Mississippians Group on Facebook that eventually included a few thousand  members. Then, Facebook, (as it always seems to do), made changes to the site and began archiving “Groups” so that they, instead, could create “Pages.”

This meant our once very active group bit the dust. So, I created a Mississippians Facebook Page that would compliment it, and hopefully, draw a following of people with Mississippi ties.

“Like” it, and you will receive updates from me about Mississippi stories, and occasionally, I will ask you to participate in one, or if you know someone who can. I want to know your thoughts about things happening in the state, whether they or serious or silly.

The page is geared toward anyone with any tie to the state. Maybe you just lived here briefly and moved away, or visited and never forgot it.

It’s my hope that through these two Facebook sites, we can keep in touch, get news out to other Mississippians, and I’m hoping that you will help me spread the word.

Feel free to SHARE this blog post, and hopefully we can build the page together.
